Hello Scott & Mikey,

Demand for natural gas is being driven by increased usage by power plants at the same time on-shore U.S., Western Canada and off-shore Gulf of Mexico production is diminishing. This has increased the interest in import of liquified natural gas (LNG) which is abundant world-wide.

Unfortunately LNG is fairly expensive to transport because it must be kept very cold and under extreme pressure in special ships. And we (U.S.) seem to have a shortage of LPN terminals to unload the stuff when it gets here.

So, until some of the wrinkles are worked out of our national energy plan (?), I'm holding FSNGX, but watching for a pull-back. Hopefully I will make enough money to offset the increased cost to heat this old house in the Finger Lakes of NY next winter.

Incidentally, LPN is not same as propane. LPN is liquified form of natural gas (methane). Liquified petroleum gas (LPG) is propane.

Best,
David F.
