Wonder if there any anything like 'Stop Loss' that kicks in after 'X' number of body-bags are brought home.

Earlier the current President was looking quite unstoppable for 2004 elections. But who knows ... maybe someone will stop him. And then perhaps the next administration will be more willing to consider the world opinion and will stop the un-necessary wastage of American lives (not to mention the money) in Iraq.
