That's exactly right.
Let me explain, when one posts a chart within his/her post, a physical copy of the file is actually uploaded on the FV server. This is a no no for any material that is or that may be copyrited by someone other than the visionary making the post.
However, if one creates a hyperlink, what's uploaded on the FV server is simply the URL (Universal Resource Locator ... that's the stuff you see in the form of http://www.fundvision.com/ .....). The material (most likely) is copyrited, however the URL (path) to get to that material is not.
And that's why it is okay to post a URL (Hyperlink) but it is not okay to post the actual chart (unless you have copyrite to it).
The charts I post are owned by me and by default product agreement of Supercharts, I am authorized to publish those charts, so long as the little notice at the bottom of all my charts that says 'Created using ... ' is displayed.
I know that some of the visionaries will/may find this thread completely useless, but IMHO it is important for those who plan to post charts. Please double check the agreements and post only if you're authorized.
In the evening I'll clarify some more points ...
