Friends,

Looks like it is nearly impossible for whatever GOVT comes into power in India to survive for more than a couple of years. Ms Sonia Gandhi has declined to take-up the position of Prime-Minister. A wise decision I assume as any govt that needs support for communists is not really worth forming in the first place.

I'm very familier with the politics and personalities involved. But for those who are interested, see what BBC has to say about those hard-core communists that are still present in this world (click here).

I'm somewhat relieved ... now that perhaps communists supported govt will not last much.

Gosh ... I guess the communists are the biggest threat there is to the markets.
