Sure. It is perfectly okay to create a hyperlink. When one clicks the hyperlink, he/she actually surfs over to the hyperlinked site and the material is straight accessed from the hyperlinked site. No republishing is involved and then we're okay.

You're absolutely right.

I inquired with the editor of the smartmoney.com Mr Frons and he granted us permission to copy and use the charts so long as we credit the chart to them and so long as we include the link to them.

You'll notice that Dennis asked for BigCharts and I contacted them. (Their charges are $500 per month ! Way too high for me to afford it.)

(I already had looked over their site and that's why I was able to respond to you quickly with the link to their 'Terms of use' page.)
