Seriously Salil, we'd be pleased to read any links that you find helpful in explaining just what did happen.... and why the political pundits (at least those here) seemed so "shocked" er, surprised by the outcome....

I'm especially curious to see if the new gov't will maintain, modify, or change India's foreign policy directions....
